Services for companies
I advise technology, manufacturing and services companies, from checking whether a platform complies with the rules, through contracts and negotiations, to disputes before courts and authorities.
Technology and regulation
I check whether online platforms and digital services comply with the applicable rules, and I represent companies before the Polish competition, data protection and financial supervision authorities.
Contracts and day to day legal work
I draft and negotiate contracts, from single orders to framework agreements and the sale of shares, assets and machinery.
Disputes and proceedings
I run commercial disputes before the Polish courts, from simple payment claims to disputes over technology implementations. I appear in court myself.
Technology and regulation
Online platforms, digital services and AI tools are subject to a growing number of regulations, and several authorities supervise them at once. I check whether a company operates in line with them, and I represent it when an authority starts asking questions.
- Platform compliance
I check whether an online platform, shop or app complies with the applicable rules, from consumer law and data protection to sector rules. The result is a list of gaps with priorities and a recommendation on what to fix first.
- Terms and conditions and privacy policies
I draft new terms and privacy policies and repair defective ones. Defective terms are the most common reason for enquiries from UOKiK, the consumer protection authority, and for disputes with customers, so I also check clauses that could end up in the register of unfair contract terms.
- NIS2 and the National Cybersecurity System Act
I establish whether a company is an essential or an important entity and what follows from that: registration in the list, an information security management system, reporting incidents within 24 hours, audits. I prepare the documentation and help the management board, whose members are personally liable. Your company can run the preliminary qualification itself in the free NIS2 Compliance Check tool.
- GDPR
Compliance audits, data processing agreements, records of processing activities, handling requests from data subjects and reporting breaches to UODO, the data protection authority, within 72 hours. I represent companies in proceedings before the President of UODO.
- AI Act
I classify the artificial intelligence systems a company uses by risk level and set out the obligations: labelling of content, human oversight, documentation, staff competence. I answer the question clients ask most often: does our use of AI require additional procedures.
- Payment services and licences
I assess whether a platform provides payment services within the meaning of the Payment Services Act and what that means: a licence, registration or an exemption. I negotiate with payment service providers and advise on implementation.
- Contracts with technology suppliers
I negotiate contracts with suppliers of IT services, SaaS, cloud and payments: scope, service levels, liability, data, exit from the contract.
- Representation before authorities
I represent businesses before UOKiK, UODO, KNF (the financial supervision authority) and other supervisory and inspection bodies: replies to requests, explanations, proceedings.
Contracts and day to day legal work
I draft and negotiate contracts for technology, manufacturing and services companies, from orders worth a few thousand zloty to contracts worth more than ten million. I handle both single engagements and ongoing cooperation with day to day legal work.
- Service agreements and framework contracts
I draft and negotiate the contracts a company’s daily business rests on: scope of services, deadlines, remuneration, liability, contractual penalties, termination. I make sure the contract still works when the cooperation goes wrong.
- B2B contracts, civil law contracts and employment contracts
After the labour inspection reform, a B2B contract that in practice looks like a job can be converted into an employment relationship by an inspector’s decision. I review contracts and the actual terms of cooperation, fix them and prepare the company for an inspection. Your company can run a first test of a contract in the free B2B Contract Check tool.
- Trade mark licences
Licence agreements, scope and territory of use of the mark, fees, quality control, termination.
- Logistics contracts
Contracts of carriage, freight forwarding and warehousing, allocation of liability for goods, deadlines and complaints.
- Sale of shares, assets and machinery
I prepare and negotiate agreements for the sale of shares, businesses, organised parts of businesses, production lines and machinery, together with legal due diligence before the transaction.
- Companies and the National Court Register
Setting up companies, amendments to articles of association, changes to the management board and entries in the National Court Register (KRS), as part of ongoing legal work.
- Ongoing cooperation
For companies that need day to day legal work: contracts, letters, consultations and everyday decisions, billed by the hour. We agree the scope in the offer.
Disputes and proceedings
I run commercial disputes before the Polish civil courts, from ordinary payment claims to complex disputes over the implementation of new technology, industrial installations and IT systems. I appear in court myself.
- Analysis and recommendation before a dispute
I start a matter with an analysis and a recommendation. What the documents show, what the options, chances and real costs are. Only then comes the decision on a dispute.
- Payment claims and contractual penalties
Demands for payment, objections and defences, order for payment proceedings, defending against contractual penalties and claiming them.
- Technology implementation disputes
Disputes over industrial installations, production lines and IT systems: defects, delays, withdrawal from the contract, settlement. These are cases with expert opinions that run for years, all the way to the Supreme Court.
- Proceedings before authorities
I represent companies and individuals before UOKiK, KNF, UODO and the National Labour Inspectorate: replies to requests, explanations, appeals against decisions.
- Negotiations and settlements
When the numbers show that a settlement is better than a judgment, I negotiate it and draft it so that it can be enforced.
- Enforcement
I see a matter through to the end, including enforcement by a court bailiff.
How a case starts
What I deliver depends on the engagement: an analysis and a recommendation, a legal opinion, a draft contract or another document, or the negotiation itself.
- Get in touch by phone, e-mail or the form.
- Depending on what the matter involves, I send an offer by e-mail or we meet online first. A quote usually goes out within one business day.
- Once you accept it, I collect the materials. I often prepare a legal interview form so the necessary facts are gathered in a readable way.
Fees
The hourly rate is PLN 250 net. Most engagements are quoted individually, and a quote usually goes out within one business day.
I do not handle family law, misdemeanours or road accident claims.
